Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a process that allows a person to by-pass the Conscious Part of the Mind (the critical, analytical Part) and establishes what is known as Selective Thinking. This is on a Sub-Conscious level where Habits, Imagination, Bodily Functions, Emotions, Energy and Memory reside. It is achieving a State of Altered Consciousness where you then add Concentrated Imagery: S A C C I
Altered Consciousness
A State of Altered Consciousness is achieved in many ways. There is Meditation which has many forms and variations, such as: Transcendental Meditation, Mindful Meditation, Chanting, Aerobic Breathing, Yoga, Tai-Chi, Progressive Relaxation, Prayer, etc. Concentrated Imagery is induced by Hypnosis Deepening Techniques, such as: Eye Fixation, Confusion Inductions, Loss of Equilibrium, Shock to the Nervous System, Self-Hypnosis. At this point you concentrate on a specific thought, goal, task or idea.
